Interview with on Adaptive & Responsive Motion Graphics

Updated: Aug 30, 2023

Creating high-quality content at speed and quantity is a challenge for even the largest brands and organizations. And leveraging on AI will actually make matters worse as more time is spent on just one part of the content creation process.

There is another integral part of content creation and it involves identity branding, the logos, text animations, shapes and colors and how they animate - these have to be on-brand too. And these are often required in a video and they do take time and effort from a specialist too.

So, brands and organizations often stick to basic designs and motion design and at a cost – instead of leveraging on this opportunity to differentiate and position themselves, they take the easy way out. Post-production is where the packaging happens for a video and like a beautiful present, your presentation needs an amazing and delightful packaging. So how does Adaptive & Responsive features help at all and how are they transformative?

The Adaptive Feature means designing and developing once so that the output can be generated for different frame sizes and aspect ratios.

This sounds like magic and it almost is. It's just code, an algorithm that is used to ensure elements used in the video automatically re-size, re-position and re-animate based on the frame size, even as this frame size changes. And these are done automatically, instantly.

So, you are now able to output to different Social Media Platforms and you can customize each output so that it can be optimized for a specific platform; making it more attuned to a platform's viewers.

The Responsive Feature adds a second layer of awesomeness by auto-resizing, auto-positioning and auto-animating elements based on changes in content. This content can be textual or visual.

This adds robustness and a single output is now able to work with a multitude of content; intelligently and automatically re-shaping and re-animating itself based on a brand's guidelines which were originally adhered to in the originating design.

Content Automation is the next step.

With the two advanced features in place, it is now a matter of connecting a spreadsheet to the outputs and you will be able to create thousands of content; each highly tuned, with specific messaging and visuals, for a specific individual and not just a group or persona. When done well, we're looking at guaranteed increase in

Customer Lifetime Value.
